個人簡歷:
1983年7月畢業(yè)于西北輕工業(yè)學院（現(xiàn)陜西科技大學）材料系，獲學士學位；
1986年7月畢業(yè)于武漢工業(yè)大學（現(xiàn)武漢理工大學）材料學院，獲工學碩士學位；

1986年8月-1988年5月在上海建材學院（并入同濟大學材料學院）任助教；
1988年6月-1989年3月在日本神奈川大學客座研究員；
1989年4月-1992年3月日本岡山大學自然科學研究科學習，獲工學博士學位；
1992年4月-1995年3月日本山村硝子株式會社新型材料研究所研究員；
1995年4月-1999年9月日本科技廳新技術事業(yè)團(JST)創(chuàng)造科學推進事業(yè)(ERATO), 日本京都大學平尾實驗室 Chief Researcher；

1999年10月-2000年3月在美國康奈爾大學應用與工程物理系Gaeta實驗室Research Associate；
2000年4月-2005年3月日本文部科學省科學技術振興機構(gòu)國際合作項目, 日本京都大學平尾實驗室Group Leader，并任中國科學院上海光機所研究員、博士生導師（入選引進海外杰出人才“百人”計劃，終評特優(yōu)。入選國家杰出青年基金，終評特優(yōu)）；
2005年4月，浙江大學材料與化學工程學院求是特聘教授、博士生導師；

2009年9月-2015年8月，華南理工大學教育部長江特聘教授；入選南粵領軍人才

研究方向
1) 新型光電功能材料與器件特別是玻璃與微晶玻璃光纖
2) 強場（飛秒激光等）與材料的相互作用
3) 納米發(fā)光材料與器件

4）非線性光學材料（二維材料與拓撲絕緣體）

　　發(fā)表SCI收錄論文500余篇。其中Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Commun. J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., Phys. Rev. Lett., Appl. Phys. Lett., Opt. Lett.等影響因子大于3的300余篇。論文被他人引用26500余次。申請與獲得國內(nèi)外專利30項。
